Being a professional myself, I can say that I am impressed by this exhibition
in which, with feelings and love, with expression and perception of the technique, the painter conjured up one
vocation, this time of a pilot, as it turns into art. I am surprised by the author's confidence and preciseness.
He is a perfect example of self-sacrifice. His results, that are standing before us, are very convincing and
visible. His paintings have great artistic value, which confirms the fact that a person has to do their job with
love and they have to dedicate themselves to it completely in order to achieve the most important results.
Professor Sergej Jovanovic, academy-trained painter.

The author of those wonderful paintings has visualized his life creatively. In
the hours of his rest, he creates stories based on his life, from the very centre of his creative being. Djordje
Ivanov chose the road of fine arts in order to content his passion and to incarnate himself in creative fields
that burn within talented people. Those feelings in immense spaces erupt from his being and in a unique way depict
pilots' adventures. His landscapes are personally seen and conveyed onto canvas, spontaneously, with profound
sensibility and masterliness. Djordje Ivanov conquers new realms in the immense infinite spaces where he has already
largely entered.

Djordje Ivanov is a painter of a specific artistic expression, particularly in
the field of iconography. He belongs to the order of extraordinary and rare artists with a flair for details, which
makes him an excellent iconographer. God's gift for painting and flying in the Kingdom of Heaven separated Djordje
Ivanov from his material being and soared him up to the sphere of spiritual, accessible only to the chosen ones.
I believe that painter Djordje Ivanov will evolve in his development and that he will align himself with our most
eminent artists - iconographers. May God give him long life and abundance of spiritual strength in his creative work.
With blessing, archpriest Djuro Skocic.

Our renowned pilot and painter Djordje Ivanov, great friend and long-standing
associate of the Museum of Aviation, dedicated the majority of his paintings to the aviation, his main
preoccupation and vocation. His paintings immortalize one period of our aviation and therefore have immense and
priceless value. They were painted by the hand of a pilot who had participated in all the events of our long and
great air tradition and glorious history. His paintings on the subject of aviation, on the occasion of celebration
of the 100th anniversary of the first flight on motor aircraft were exhibited in Bulgaria, Austria and France in
2003. We intend to make this kind of exhibition in the cities throughout Europe and world, in order to present our
aviation and to win recognition for it by means of such valuable and thriving paintings.
General Manager of the Museum of Aviation Slavko Biga, MD.
